Victor A. Lugo is a Ph.D. student in Communication Science and Disorders and a Triple L: Leadership in Language and Literacy Fellow. Victor studies how educators in the U.S. can influence and shape education policy to make educational systems more equitable for students and teachers. His current projects focus on education policy advocacy, teachers’ unions, school choice, team science, and the development of a literacy intervention that leverages Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) teachers.
