Shaylyn King is a Ph.D. student in the School of Communication Science and Disorders. She is interested in the literacy skills of linguistically diverse and vulnerable populations, contextual factors that influence language development, and dialect.

Shaylyn has previous work experience as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in Title 1 schools in Central Florida.
