I have a diverse educational and professional background. I hold a Master's degree in Information Science, a Bachelor's degree in Guidance and Counselling/Mathematics, and a Nigeria Certificate in Education in Computer Science and Mathematics. Over the past 24 years, I have accumulated extensive teaching experience, starting as a teacher trainee. I thereafter taught at all levels of education in Nigeria and worked as university administrative staff before transitioning to faculty at the University of Ibadan in 2018.

Before I commenced my study leave, among the courses I used to teach at the University of Ibadan included applied statistics in information studies research, digitization, and IT applications in information centers. My research interests revolve around information literacy, digital literacy/competency, AI ethics and literacy, as well as information retrieval/extraction.
