Anne Reed

Anne Reed is a Ph.D. student in Communication Science and Disorders, as well as a FIREFLIES fellow. Before starting the Ph.D. program, she worked as a speech-language pathologist (SLP) in public and private schools. She also worked at a specialized school for learners with dyslexia. Her research interests include speech sound disorder therapy dosage and intensity on progress, type of reading instruction and its impact on future special education referrals, and state stakeholder (e.g., DOE, legislators) awareness of new speech sound development data and the subsequent impact on SPED eligibility.
