Biography
Hi there!
My name is Braidyn Lazenby. I am thrilled to be an Assistant Professor here at FSU. My research interests include interpersonal health communication. More specifically, I specialize in how people navigate difficult conversations about health with healthcare providers, friends, family members, and romantic partners. I am passionate about translating health communication scholarship into tangible resources for the broader public. Some of my previous research has focused on stigmatized conditions, eating disorders, and fad diets, among many other things. My research can be found in journals such as Health Communication, Qualitative Health Research, Social Science and Medicine, and more. I love chatting about health communication, so feel free to stop by my office, email me, or check out my work through my Google Scholar profile here: Braidyn Lazenby – Google Scholar Profile
In my spare time I love trying new restaurants, finding live music, and engaging with the local wildlife here in Florida. I am also an avid sports fan and enjoy cheering on all of my teams in all of the sports. I have enough spirit to span Bama, Texas, and now FSU.
Go Noles!
