Lucas von Hollen
Teaching Faculty I
Lucas von Hollen is an instructor of emerging technologies at Florida State University. He is probably at least 30 years old, and is known for building robots which he then uses to collude with homeless people. He has also been gifted with The Sight and really shouldn’t be allowed to write official descriptions of himself. He has a history of instructional design and sometimes setting himself on fire. Lucas has obtained a number of degrees, ranging from an undergraduate in Theatre to a Masters of Science in Information Technology. He has never killed another man, but probably wouldn’t be able to handle it anyway. He also thinks that summary biographies are seldom ever read and is constantly being proven wrong when people call him out on the nonsense he writes in them.
His careers range from Game Designer to Lead Clown, Software engineer, Videographer, Programmer, Technician, and too many others to mention or keep track of. His history in these fields has earned him the title of “Techno Wizard of Tallahassee”, which will produce his results if googled. He has trouble taking things seriously, and most likely also has commitment issues. He leads a cult of lab coat wearing hooligans who are in a perpetual fight against the Forbidden Several. His talents include juggling, unicycling, fitting himself into a suitcase, and playing the kazoo with his nose. He has an annoyingly large body of knowledge on topics such as web development, user experience design, and the history of nerf blasters.
He’s worked at length in the fields of entertainment psychology and game development, but doesn’t know how to tie shoes yet. He is convinced he is metaphorically invincible and has been known to speak in tongues when presented with religious artifacts. Lucas has been asked to take a variety of things seriously in his life, and has done a terrible job at almost all of them. He is currently a hoarder of the sixth circle and has just finished obtaining a series of shipping containers for which to build his fortress. If you see him, please call the number on the back of this paper for a cash reward. Let’s get one million likes and bring him home!
