Toby Graves
Instructional Specialist
Toby Weisslitz Graves received her B.A. in Comparative Literature from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and her M.A. and Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a graduate certificate in Latin American Studies. In addition to publishing scholarly research articles on Colombian and Brazilian literature and film, Dr. Graves has taught a variety of Spanish courses dealing with language, literature and film as well as School of Communication courses on Latin American documentary, Social Justice documentary, Displacement documentary, and Media techniques. She currently supervises online courses, TAs , and adjuncts for the School of Communication, while teaching regularly for the Dept. of Modern Languages and Linguistics and for International Programs. She is also the faculty advisor for the Brazilian Association at FSU.
